Aims and Scope

The Japanese Journal of Labour Studies (Nihon Rodo Kenkyu Zasshi) provides researchers and others in various academic fields both domestic and international, with opportunities to present their academic papers on a wide range of labor-related issues. The journal also collects and records valuable information, materials, and research results, aiming to contribute to the development of labor research and the understanding of labor issues.

Editorial Policy

  1. The planning and editing of the journal shall be carried out by the Editorial Board.
  2. The Editorial Board shall make decisions on the publication of articles and other materials based on the results of reviews commissioned from researchers specializing in the relevant fields.
  3. Manuscripts for submission will be handled in accordance with the Submission Rules (only papers written in Japanese are accepted).
  4. The journal will endeavor to share the accumulation of research by publishing projects that provide perspectives and introductions of research trends, etc., as appropriate.
  5. Roundtable discussions and forums will be held as necessary to deepen discussions on important labor issues.
